SINGLE TO MARRIED

"It's amazing to feel, share and live together"

The transition from single to married life is quite a challenging experience. It takes some time for husband and wife to understand each other. Both have to develop a bond that includes respect, compromise, friendship, understanding each other’s emotions and to give some privacy to each other. There was a newlywed couple in Edgbaston, an urban area of Birmingham, England. The name of the husband was Musa and his wife named was Urooj. The couple was new to the town. Musa was struggling with establishing his business, so, he couldn’t give much of his time to family.

"Miracles are often unplanned"
Urooj supported her husband whole-heartedly during the process. During this process of him becoming a Businessman, he was blessed with a baby boy and girl in the form of twins. The couple celebrated the happiness of the newcomers by following Islamic principles.  The family members were happy for the couple. The name of the boy was decided as “Taha” by his mother and the name of a baby girl was decided “Maryam” by her father. The bond between Musa and Urooj becomes stronger after the birth of their twin babies. It took 10 years for Musa to establish his business in Edgbaston. He worked day and night to establish his position as a successful businessman, so, they can lead a prosperous life.

On another side, Musa was a social worker. He used to help his neighbors, colleagues, friends and especially the poor’s. Musa was a kind heart and a well-mannered persona. Urooj was also following the footsteps of her husband. She used to help needy people and developed a good relationship between them. In these years, Taha and Maryam reached in forth standard in their school, respectively. Both kids were intelligent and talented. During the summer holidays, both kids demanded to take them out to some beautiful place for some days.

"Kids are nothing but a blessing"

Musa arranged a trip for his family to Switzerland for fifteen days. Switzerland is known for its natural landscapes. They traveled to different places in Switzerland including Zurich and Bern. On tour, the whole family enjoyed the beauty. Taha and Maryam were impressed and pleased with the scenery. The family also visited different lakes including Lake Geneva, Lake Zurich, and Lake Lugano. Each one of them was entertained but kids enjoyed above all. Two days left for the trip, Musa planned to take kids on the Eiger trail (attraction for the tourists) as the last destination.

They rented a jeep for reaching close to the top of the trail. The duration for the jeep to reach the trail was one hour. They started their journey at 10 am. On the way, Taha and Maryam were enjoying the scenery, as they were going ahead. Suddenly, a strange incident happened that all family including driver saw a shadow of a ghost crossed them. Everybody for some time went to trauma but took it as whether it was so, or merely chance or illusion, no one really believed.

After approximately 15 minutes passed, each one gets back normal and started enjoying once again. In the meantime, Urooj and Taha were missing from the jeep, as Maryam pointed out to her father after not able to see both of them in the jeep. They were shocked. Maryam and Musa along with jeep driver searched but couldn’t possibly found them. They even took help from the police in Switzerland. Three days passed but no one could find Urooj and Taha. It was a worrisome time for the Musa and Maryam. Both of them were in anxiety and couldn’t find a way, how to react.

Police traced the bodies of Taha and Urooj from the jungle on the fifth day. Post- mortem reports suggest that death takes place due to fear of the ghost. There were some wounds found on the bodies of Taha and Urooj. It was believed that wild animals have eaten the flesh from the bodies. The dead bodies were buried in Switzerland in the presence of Musa and Maryam. This tragic incident brings darkness in the lives  of Musa and Maryam.

"One has to face the harsh realities of life or else, there is no better choice"
